My trainer was Lesley who was brilliant so helpful and everything was clear to understand. I would like to say a special thanks to Andrea Wood who supported me throughout the course. My Assessor was kind and understanding and thank you for helping me when I didn’t fully understand the questions.

We have partnered with WBTC for many years now, they take the time to get to know your organisation, and they provide excellent support to both the apprentices and the wider business. In addition, the workshops and enrichment activities enhance the skill set of the apprentices in line with the needs of our business. They take the time to develop strong working relationships with their mentors to ensure rounded support to the apprentice.

Since Ubico teamed up with WBTC to provide educational courses to our staff they have supported our learners brilliantly with a range of teaching resources including one to one training, presentation building skills, relevant and clear training materials, tutor support and both classroom and group interactive sessions. The benefits of working with WBTC have been clear, students are well versed in management techniques, understand legislation in the workplace and overall have better confidence in their abilities. WBTC is an excellent training provider, and I look forward to working with them in the near future.

We have been working with WBTC for several years now on Engineering and Project Management apprenticeships. The reason that we choose them as a provider is because they offer more than other colleges and providers by supporting our apprentices throughout the entire journey. The communication between them and us is open and transparent and they adapt the learning to meet the needs of the business, and understand us and our requirements.

We had to ensure that the training would be applicable to our specific industry needs and that it wouldn't disrupt our day-to-day operations. However, WBTC's flexibility and willingness to customise their programmes alleviated our fears. Rachel’s hands-on approach and regular catch ups with our apprentice ensured that the relationships with up-skilling employees meant that they can be the best version of themselves.

Doing an apprenticeship has built my confidence and given me valuable skills and knowledge which I use daily within my role. I learnt a lot about myself as a person and also a lot about business and how they run internally and externally. I enjoyed the scheme and the continuous support offered to me throughout my apprenticeship. I also enjoyed the experiences and opportunities it has given me.

I would tell anyone thinking of doing an apprenticeship to go for it as it has secured me a job that I love, got me qualifications and allowed me to learn new life skills.

This apprenticeship has provided me with the knowledge and skills to ensure maximum efficiency in my role, whether its time management techniques or knowing how to approach a project using project management tools or just how to manage tasks to a team and people management, I now feel confident in these and so many more areas.

An Apprenticeship is a great way to support the role you are doing, by considering other points of view, taking a step back from daily tasks and learn new techniques that can be applied.
