This level 3 course is suitable for individuals in a low-risk workplace or those supporting qualified first aiders.
Who is it for?
NUCO’s Emergency First Aid at Work course is a one-day training programme designed to equip individuals with essential skills to handle workplace emergencies. This course is fully accredited by NUCO First Aid and meets Health and Safety Executive (HSE) standards. It’s suitable for low-risk environments or as supplementary training for a team of qualified first aiders.

How will this workshop help me?
This workshop will equip you with the following skills and knowledge
- Essential first aid skills and knowledge for responding to workplace emergencies
- Emphasise practical skills and confidence in handling emergency situations
- Responsibilities and reporting
- Situation Assessment
- Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
- Basic hygiene in First Aid
- Resuscitation, Burns, Epilepsy, Minor Injuries, Bleeding Control Choking, Shock
This workshop will be delivered by Andrew Spaak. Andrew is a level 3 Advanced First Aid, Defibrillation, Oxygen Therapy and Anaphylaxis Management Instructor with Therapeutic and Event First Aid experience and a First Aid internal quality assurance CPD certificate.
This workshop is free for Apprentices, £75 for Partners, £150 Commercial.
Delivery
This workshop will be delivered in person at out WBTC office in Newbury and will last a full day.
