Employed Adults

Apprenticeships are not just for school and college leavers. Employed adults, of any age, are also able to undertake them. And, with government funding available, there’s never been a better time to take advantage of training your staff.

As an employer, Adult Apprenticeships for existing staff offer real and lasting benefits. You can lower your training costs whilst improving the capabilities of your employees. This results in a more productive, qualified and efficient workforce who appreciate that your investment in them helps both your business as well as their career.

Adult Apprenticeships are open to anyone, of any age, who is employed and working more than 30 hours a week and has not achieved a Level 4 or degree level qualification.

West Berkshire Training Consortium offer a wide variety of Adult Apprenticeships including:

•    Business Administration
•    Customer Service
•    Team Leading
•    Management
•    Housing
•    ILM Leadership and Management

We will match the job role with the qualification, manage the enrolment as well as provide ongoing assessment and training. We also offer within the programme a series of enrichment activities and team building events. We organise a number of additional free workshops to enhance their capabilities, such as stress management, team working, presentation skills and telephone techniques.

“My Apprenticeship has helped by providing me with a good theoretical understanding of the role of a manager”
